Such a coward. Rip our country last 5 years. I can't even believe this country was ruled for 5 years by a person like him. Feels bad.

But GR needs SLFP help. Don't misunderstand. Ffs he is the leader of the SLFP. However SLFP is not bad at all. GR will control them.Everyone will be limited under the GR government. Even MR. And it is our duty to elect valuable and honest people to parliament. Remember there's no more than a disaster like UNP ruling the country.

And even JVP could capture some considerable number of votes if they had an own path. They were plugged to UNP for last years we saw. And they are just blaming Rajapaksa. That is their job. That's why old members also left JVP. 

Uvindu Wijeweera also told that current JVP isn't the real JVP. And seems he is gonna enter to the politics.He looks like a genuine guy. Will see what's gonna happen.

GR is a genuine guy but we have to filter his crew. But he is going bold we can see that. Everyone's inappropriate activity will be limited. Lets hope that he would able to make this place better.

GR failing to control his own brother MR and his goons... how he will change the system....!. 

All the recent articles published about positive sign of GR were just an eyewash to attract 2/3 majority in upcoming general election and cover their past dirty records.
No one will catch thief as they are best friends.

So many things changed. Look from the body guard crew, workers in presidential office.

Everyone will see the growth of our country after a year. Don't compare with UNP government.Their period of 5 years don't worthy to even compare.

However changing the whole country which was been destroying for 5 years in a 3 months isn't possible. Things are changing. It takes time. I know they have a good plan.

And mind this isn't a government of 100 days. I believe they will keep the good work and perform better than past years, So they will be able to be in power for decades. Even when someone sees that a person rule the country more than 1 time isn't good. Those who coming without a plan, without a future will just waste our money and run away. See UNP and Sirisena didn't do anything as President and PM. At the end there was few poor attempts opening unfinished "Nelum Kuluna" and few highways. After all of them UNP still trying to say bulk of lies and cheat people again. But happily srilankan voters are not that bad. (at least the majority).

My take is there must be someone who will able to rule for decades. Because no one will go mad if they had a vision to win the next election too.

Most of people don't even appreciate a good work if that work was done by an opponent. That is a sad situation. People also need to change, not only the government.

Agreed the important fact is the future and we do support for that.

The money country has lost in various dirty deals by politicians are our hard earned money and it should be recovered.

GR is surrounded by same circle of goons and dirty politicians, thus he will not be able to move and achieve his goals as voters expected. We can see after five years.

Yeah. 1 of worst things ever. Actually politicians may be considered as good and educated people. But most of them are just goons and idiots. you know. People have to filter them. Even we can't say a word because they didn't come their own. There were elected by the votes of people.

However there are few dirty politicians around GR i know. But there are good politicians too. And we can't say he won't be able to achieve his goals because of few dirty people. We can expect some bold actions against dirty politicians after GE. System must change, And GR is suitable to do it. He has the qualifications. He will do it.

 you are very good at analyzing investment-related matters at your age but In politics, you are still just a kid, still, you see politics from your parent's perspective, you even don't know that because you were brainwashed by parents during your entire childhood. That happened, most of the kids in Srilanka. That happened to me also. That's why people worship these two parties. 
 how you believe in GR that much, who took public money to build his parent "sohona".  After reveling everything he deposited the money back. he removed the court case ones he becomes a president. even precedent does not have legal immunity for the crime he committed before becoming a precedent.

I think GR is better than MR but when the power comes to your hand you will change. we can expect good things form GR in this year only.

Haha maybe you are right. I agree that happens in most of families. Almost in every family. However my parents haven't sprouted into any party. Mom used to vote MR since i know. But dad votes with the situation. He voted sirisena in 2015. We all know things were running crazy in 2015. Actually i don't have any clear memory as i was only 13yrs old in 2015. But i think people were searching for an option. Sirisena took the opportunity and successfully ate country for 5 years. Actually UNP used that idiot as a bot for their own desires.

Yes we have to step away that line.Our parents voting a party doesn't say that it is correct. I saw so many people in this country, who got no point for their vote. Otherwise this UNP was swept away from this country a long time ago. People are looking for the benefits. Short term benefits such as a few bucks or a small house for them. But also there are some group, who thinks far better and got a point for their vote.Who votes for the future of the country.A good reason for their vote, not coz of private benefits. 

There are few facts to believe in GR. Actually i don't trust anyone. But i feel something special with him. Something really special and far better than others. I think he won't make me disappointed. He proved that he is not like others by some decisions but it is too fast to decide. We can see the performance after a year. Till we can't decide he is worst or better. Everyone knows that his government will be better than UNP government.

I don't know about that sohona case. But his dad was a politician who did some good things for the country as i know. But court cases are not allowed against a president as i know. He is immune in court.  Idk about that, i haven't study law. However the cases he had was also pointless.

Yes he is better than MR. And i think he will be better than all presidents we had. Yes that's true.People changes with the power. They won't even understand what is he doing. That happened to MR. But they understood that and now they feel it. They know if they haven't perform well, people will kick them. And nowadays people are much smarter compared to 10 years before.

Why can't we expect they will keep the good work? 

We can expect. And guess what. if they also try to eat this country, srilanka won't survive. This is the last chance to make everything right. GR has that opportunity to win all hearts of the people who loves this country. And he will not get defeated for decades. And that's so true, no one will get defeated if they have done their job well. But unfortunately most of them came to power to eat as much as they can during the period and doing poor acts to fool people at the end of their power. Why can't anyone do some great work for the country with the evidence of heart. Without fooling people and earning maximum with the bad work. I don't understand. Maybe it is some karma of this land and the people who lives here.

I didn't had voting power in last election. But if i had, i will vote GR.

Okay lets take what were the options we got.

There were only 3 options. Others didn't make sense.
   1.GR (we can expect something from him)
   2.SP (If he won. We could expect the end of SL. I don't think i have to explain)
   3.AKD (They are still at the same place. There are few good educated guys but not suitable for a president. People can't expect much from them with the behavior of last few years)

So GR was the one and only option we had. And when there was a election, my idea is we have to vote for the better guy. Searching for the "best" guy and refusing the vote is the worst thing to do. In such a scenario, if the majority refuses there is a chance to be elected the worst guy. And guess what if 15 lak decided to give a chance to AKD. SP will win the election and we ll have to say good bye to our motherland. Actually i wasn't born in here. I was born in kuwait. But i raised here. So this is my country. Even those cruel men doesn't gave me the citizenship there

After the unexpected defeat of MR, They learned much lessons. I also agree MR wasn't doing great at the end of 2014. Also dirty politicians were keep destroying him + he didn't take the expected actions against them. So many other reasons made people disappointed. He could recover their trust by good work but he wanted more power and went for a election. And got defeated. Actually you know MR wasn't a bad person. They are living gods who ended the war which this country suffered for 30 years. But it doesn't mean he is free to do whatever he want. So people replied correctly by not voting him in 2015. But the huge mistake people did was voting sirisena. Ffs of this land, he won and destroyed the country for 5 years.

But at least we can say it was okay as they got another chance now. And why may we think that they will do the same mistake again? We don't have a right to think so.

Lets hope GR will able to make this country a better place. But sadly much people needed him to failed in that job. That's the bitter truth. We have to be happy of a good work. Who is doing isn't important. People needs to change or maybe they are still have their bad karma.
