for a market to run sucessfully main players are very important whatever naming you ppl use manipulator, big fish or whatever. without them market is not interesting as well as no growth in the industry.

It is natural people do not want to accept the reality which is against their believes (a psychological theory). Starting from 2010 October, we could see many "reasons" for downward market, like

Human Right (white flag) issue
Western economic downturn
Over-regulation
Credit clearance

If you study closely these reasons came upon failing another. For example, in last September-end market did not react in accordance with people's expectation if there was credit to clear. In other words, if credit clearance was there end-September market drop (as predicted by SR and others) should have occurred. This incidence showed credit clearance is not the reason for downturn.

Then people needed another sensible reason (as I noted above many do/did not accept market is overvalued) to explain the downturn. The new reason is "Manipulators out of the market".

I'm pretty sure all big investors may have already disposed their portfolios/or part of it and waiting for market to go down. And, IMHO, the SEC created a good reason for them to be away from the market. IMHO, they may like this move of the SEC.

Truth is bitter, realizing bitterness is even more bitter!

Do you think it is the manipulators who are responsible for the outstanding performance of 2009/2010.
They never worried about investing and only thing they did was sucking blood out of you.
We will see more posts like this in the near future.

we're still seeing credit clearance. it's a simple as that. we're still seeing the same things that we say in june-july. whatever is going to happen will probably happen after october until them just bite the bullet. However i feel that the turn around will be very rapid when it happens given low turnover we're seeing these days.

I am also waiting for that to happen.As there is very low trading volumes(in turn turn over)at the moment there will be a low selling pressure till significant recovary.
