When I say, you guys should listen.............you see it is recovered now........Sri Lankan economy is booming....there is no way that the market can go down.......It will reach its peak little by little...loosers are panic sellers..I have more than 20 years of experience in this market

I am totally agree with you bro.
I expet the market went the bottom today. there should be few green days tommorrow onwards as i think.

(eventhough the market goes down further (max may be 5200), there should be 2/3 green days tomorrow onwards)

anyway lets c what is happening

What you say is good for keeping the morale high.

It looks the other way around. Market is sinking day by day. There could be temporary ups, but basically I see market sinking gradually unless some constructive measures are taken to change the downward trend. This could be negative thinking, but it's the reality all of us would have to face.

Think of the following negatives.
Drop of new investors, Lack of institutional investments, Lack of equity fund investments, Lack of confidence, Non-return of the people who have burnt there fingers badly, Lack of foreign investors, Effects of government policies (Legislation changes, currency devaluations,..), ......etc

Ok fine.....Things are not the same always....it will change......as far as I am cocerned, this is only temporary ...it will definitely change....liquidity in the market was an issue but rumours played a key role in bringing this market down than the liquidity......because investors stayed away from the market and foreigners started moving out...but we still have foreign investments in CSE...few of them sold..may be due to so many other reasons...you can not conclude that they sold because of performance of cse..I dont accept it fully...you will realise it aftre sometimes buddy.....I am very positive now with the market....it will go into green soon.

Thank you for the response Shajesh. What I said was about the reality.
If it's goes 2 days green and 1 day red is acceptable, but the problem is, it's turns the other way around which shows the instability. keeping fingers crossed.

We dont know when the people bought shares to sell now... may be 5..6 years agao
never mind...There are losers who ready to sell tomorrow even market drop to 4000
market consist of this type of people otherwise how the intelligent players earn?..

this market will never recover ........ will go down down and down further
unqualified regulators has eaten the market and also the investors as well.
it will take about 10 years to recover this.is some body thinks that this is so long ........... pls find some other investment opportunity. with this government and their funny officials non of the government body will function well and smoothly....................... so sad...............but nothing to do??????????????

You get this kind of traders everywhere in the world, not only in sri lanka.......there are manipulators, panic sellers........so many prople everywhere in the world. It is a common issue in the world.it is human nature.....but people are ready for higher price when the market goes up and enters into the market.. that will be the turn around point.....I know, it will not immediately go to 8000 but slowly it will start and move fast thereafter

Lets hope the current situation will eliminate this kind of people from the market forever.
Biggest culprits are the people who use credit lines without having the discipline and knowledge to manage their debt.
Today, I asked my broker about the people who sell like this. She told me some people still get margin calls and they have to sell at loss to pay.
