26th April 2012 - Rs. 8.20 Return for 25days = 15.5%

Nestle

30th March 2012 - Rs.911/-
26th April 2012 - Rs. 1,250/- Return for 25days = 37.2%

CTC

30th March 2012 - Rs.506/-
26th April 2012 - Rs. 690/- Return for 25days = 36.3%

DFCC

30th March 2012 - Rs.112/-
26th April 2012 - Rs. 121/- Return for 25days = 8%

Nestle, CTC and DFCC increases are not surprising as retailer holding is not significant. But in TJL there is considerable retail holding. Rs.1.10 increase in a single month is significant.

Yeah myself also witnessed some renewed interest on TJL and AAIC.
Today TJL tried to breakout Rs.8.50 but suddenly some big sell orders came and pushed it back to 8.10. This might be a case of pump and dump. On past few months there was a huge collection at Rs.7.

TJL is a potential winner from the recent steep SLRupee currency depreciation, as are all value added exporters.

It will also benefit from recent stability in global cotton prices, at sharply lower levels than in early 2011.

Investors should though analyse the impact of inflation on TJL via higher energy costs and high import content (all yarn is imported into Sri Lanka, and will be at higher prices due to currency depreciation). The delay in utilising IPO funds to expand capacity is a further concern.

Just seen PLC giving dividends..and has recored good profit also... not sure why the price is not moving...is it due to many stocks in the flow...
