Any expert can give the reason for the market going up these days? any good news? massive profits? Listed companies winning bids? New reports released by the listed companies? anything happening around the world? UN proposal against Sri Lanka winning Wink

? Or is it the elections?

Aj just realize that beaten down markets can find a way to go up. Contrary to your opinion , there are many counters which were over sold and trading at very good valuations if one studies past history.

I know you are skeptical always. But I mentioned to collect slowly when ASI was in the 4800 after observing many factors. Then this Dr K or Dr G factor was not there. it came later. If you invested then you would have gained by now.

It is pointless to keep asking why it is going up . Bull market does not start when everything is positive. It starts before that. It has been going up for 3 weeks now and the trend looks like more to come. Also there can be red days and drops in index in the coming days , weeks., That is natural market cycles.

It is okay to be careful and play safe always though. I agree.

Unless some unseen panic or catastrophe ASI fallign back to 4700 is gone. This market seems to also start fitting into Elliot Wave ( 5 wave descriptions).

NO one has a magic ball toi predict 100% .

But I think you should start looking ay things postively than waiting for everything to be positive aqnd grab opportunities if you are here to invest in CSE.

Ah imagine what if Dr Dr Godahewa was appointed around 2010. Then the market would be in 24000 by now. Isn't he fantastic. He brought millions of tourists when our tourist industry was at the bottom Wink

I think he should run for president.

1). Our market is attractive. Foreign inflow is almost 28 billion in this year up to now.
2). We don't have SEC now. So, anyone can play in the stock market. There won't be any investigation, even if you found guilty.

There's no logic in your posts. Don't be sarcastic. Dr. Godahewa factor is important because there was a regime which was so negative like yours. Now clearly it's gone. Market came down in Feb. 2012 and it went upto 5500 levels in last April before the new set of SEC letters were despatched.
