Whenever there was a chicken run, BFL was the leader of the pack. BFL reported bad quarter.their other operating expenses up by 200% and finance cost up by 100%.So will this be the case for other chicken shares??If it is so there will be a chicken run(red one) .but I feel GRAN will report better quarter than last one and their finance cost can not bad as BFL. What do you think chicken lovers(I know it is hard to find them these days)

bfl effect in halal problem....i think now tafl better than bfl...hope and waiting tafl results......

This has been a terrible quarter for BFL. Usually december would been a strong one for them and expectation was for better results after chicken price hike and tax rates.

GRAN also has to pay the old tax compensation right.?

Price wise am not sure how much more it would drop ( it can on the first few days ) as it seems the market already was expecting this. ( market is right)

If CSE keeps bullish or one of the other has a better quarter ( TAFL ? ) maybe these share may survive the sword.

There is no halal issue, if so how come topline growth of 7%? All the talk about cost saving has not worked thats the issue. All main chicken manufacturers got halal certification. If going for poultry, top pick should be the company that has better cost management in place since the price will not be allowed to increase at least till end of the year. Having said that price should not be a big factor because I see some shops selling certain other chicken brands at the same price before the Rs30 increase to be competitive.

I don't think so.He did not sell when it was trading around Rs 525 in 2011.Instead he sold some where around 140-195.So after all,it's look like he couldn't get the maximum out of it.GREED and FEAR????
Any way he is one of the best players in our league.
