So if we calculate the total length of the roads they are trying to develop is 10.5Km+ 2Km +25Km = 37.5Km.
If they plan to use the total amount of the loan to develop only the mentioned 3 sections, then the average cost per Km is 3230/37.5= 86.13 million.
I’m not an expert on road construction but believe that’s an unacceptable cost for an improvement of such small sections of roads.
B312 is a quite winding and narrow road but I cannot see why we need to improve such less functional road with such expenses. Evil or Very Mad
We have plenty other things to sort out before spend Rs3.23 billion on such small project.

There must be many farmers without adequate water facilities, 1000s of schools without proper buildings, etc etc..
If they really want to develop roads then there must more important roads than this.

Roads without big potholes would be adequate for these areas of the country.

Good analysis and This gives a message to the Government that people keep an alertfull eye on their actions(like in TFC - NSB deal)
On the otherhand I do not know whether government has taken the pathway of common people when applying for this loan. When ?most of us apply for a loan we mention one purpose and use that money for some other purpose. So main purpose of government to take this loan may be not road development but to make some adjustment to budget deficite.(Actually government had applied for IMF loan for this purpose and IMF had rejected that saying they did not grant loan for that purpose.)
