Anybody can explain that how to apply for LDEV Rights. I am sent a circular. but I don't know what to do with that.
Please Help me............ pale

I am planning to sell them in the market . I think we can sell the LDEV rights from 21st onwards for 5 days.
If you want to buy rights talk to ur broker he will do the rest. And you have to deposit lot of money
your no. of shares*15*25 :lol: :lol:

According to the announcement the XR date is 25th April and the despatch of the letter is 29th April so you can't have got the rights letter now. Going by the announcement you need to hold the shares till 25th to be eligible for the rights.

Dear friends,

I am new to the stock trading, I need to know what is the difference between script and rights. When rights are called and if we wish to buy, do we need to request rights for whole existing normal shares we have currently or we can apply partial of it ? In the annoucement there are certain terms which still not familiar with ( ie XR Date, provisional allotment etc., ) I would much appreciate if someone explain or send some link to learn these terms.

If it's a circular, just read it and understand what it says. other than that you don't have to do anything.
the applications will be dispatched after the XR date

I am new to CSE but i managed to get through some ATL rights issue procedures , so i gained lot of knowledge and think it will help a bit , if i got some thing wrong please correct me ..

OF ATL,
AMANA TAKAFUL PLC

Proportion:- One (01) new ordinary share for every One (01) share held

XR: 21-MAR-2011
Dispatch of Provisional Letter of Allotment : 25.Mar.2011
Rights Trading Commences on : 31.Mar.2011
Renunciation: 07.Apr.2011
Last Date of Acceptance & Payment: 08.Apr.2011 [i]

As i have had bought ATL.N befor 25/01 and thught i was eligible for rights

Then according to the proportion i ll be able to have same number of new shares for the shares that i am holding currently

I received the Circular to the share holders on about 15 the of Feb
I did nothing with it and it contained some details about there future aspects and details about the provisional letter of allotment. And it contained details about the EGM and the form of proxy. . . I still do not know what to do with the form of proxy

Then i received the provisional letter of allotment on around 26th of march

This letter carried 3 application forms

a) The form which i have to mention and fill weather i am applying for the full no of shares or part of it

b) the form of renunciation to CDS

C) the form for applying for additional shares

so i filled both a) and b) and handed it to my broker befor the last date of acceptance of payment . For each form i have to produce two bank drafts ( one for the rights and one for the additional shares asking)

and got to know if we renounce the rights to the CDS can do Rights trading in CSE.

so thats the story

if any needy one gets a simple help i am happy , if there are any thing wrong please do correct. . .

* to be eligible, you should have held the shares at the start of 25th March and not necessarily 25/1 (announcement date)

* the form of proxy is a form to fill in when appointing someone else to go to the shareholders' meeting and exercise your right of voting

* you do not need to fill both a) and b) but only either of them and if needed c). so i assume you filled both a) and c) since b) does not need to be accompanied by a payment.

if you need the rights allotted to you, fill (a) and send with the payment.
if you don't have money or do not want the rights shares, you may ignore the forms or fill (b) and send, then sell the rights in the market
if you want additional rights shares (subject to availability) fill and send (c) in addition to (a) with separate payments for both

you have to hold it at the start of XR date.
if you buy on XR date, you will not be eligible.
if you were holding this share and sold it on XR date, you will be eligible
