That is misleading info. ORIN is not owned by JINS

It is owned by Janashakthi Limited which owns 67% JINS

http://www.orientwealth.lk/about_orient_wealth/aboutus.php

Most of the dividends go to Janashakthi Limited from JINS. It is re-deployed after that.

May I ask what you are talking about. Where the misleading info is ?

Who said ORIN is owned by JINS?

Take a look closely at the ORIN quarterly report. You will see who has a stake.

Or so you are excited about CFVF stake. Nothing strange. They have always been investing client and shareholder funds with related parties.

Just like Carsons except not that great performance with related firms Rolling Eyes

Young James (Bond) jumping the gun ! ha ha
btw, i hear that whole Orient Group i.e. Orient Capital, Orient Finance (ORIN), Orient Wealth etc maybe combined with CFVF in a restructure, in time to come.
CFVF owns 20 % of ORIN and its unrealized gain on ORIN as at 31st Dec 2012 was approx Rs 3 per share.
With potential of CFVF 31st March 2013 EPS to be Rs 7, interest rate cut (and Good Potential 1st Q ending June) and prospects for a good dividend, will CFVF touch Rs 20 is the question ?

Excited? No.
Wanted to give extra info to the forum : Yes.

I see no issue in investing funds if return is higher and investors are paid dividend or through capital again.

That does not go for a specific company. Am talking about all companies.

ORIN introduction was happened in dark era of CSE. So there were no buyer to push the price artificially at least for initial owners to have couple of millions from the introduction.

ORIN management distributed just 20,000 shares among public/unrelated parties to show the minimum No of shareholders. now the person who is having 10m shares, selling his lot to the public but i think there will be a chance to see a sudden rise in the price. All the introductions were fully manipulated except ORIN. So having couple of thousands in the portfolio will be a real fun investment with this speculative idea.
