Many reasons now past via stock market. but market not accepted those. one side over sold,one side over baught. many reasons past and ahead.future reducing interest rates,north east voting campaign,common wealth,appointing a director general in august,hunting a CEO for CSE,foreign inflows,china,japan investing,august 5 opening south port terminels,country developments of roads,luxury appartments, hotels,real state purchasing by foreign companies,up trend of world markets,big investors grab large stakes by crossings.so now by few days or few months market could accept those all reasons or one of them or creating a new reasons. what are they have any choices?.

It is up to big people to start. Then retailers will drag it. It seems that the retailers do not want to put the step first.

Still people think no fair playing field in the stock market

They do not want to put their hard earned money in to stock market although interest rates are very law. because of past experience after 2009 .
People who earned money
during that period are silent now

It will take some time to build confidence again

If govt try to use public funds and manipulate market again there will be another disaster

No one can play the pool with market in the long run

If you have observed market in past 2 years, you would have noted a cyclical boom & bust trend which plays out every 4-6 months. This time last year exactly ASPI was 4800. end May 2013 it was 6500. now 6000. in the medium term frame (now to end 2014), you may get opportunity to make 50 % on selected shares in a particular time window. (the opportunity cost in that same timeframe in an FD will be 20 %). The trick is to collect undervalued fundamentally sound shares with a stable growth story (low p/e, discount to NAV & Dividend yield a bonus) and accumulate slowly and on weakness if market were to come down further. In this volatile frontier market environment, things can change very quickly as you may have observed, leaving little room to time the market, as fear, greed and market volatilty will play tricks with your mind. Even the Politics is volatile. who could have imagined a MS vs DP clash ?

they will go with different motives. Generally sounds stock. But the effect spread everywhere.
