Kindly post your favorite value, growth or momentum stocks! All ideas welcome! Stock market consists of small, large and institutional traders and investors. These different market players either foreigners or locals have different taste. When all of above or majority of above becomes active we will see a bull market.

Today some different types of small, mid and large stocks are active. When we see major uptrend one day AAF also should go up. All neglected and out of radar stocks too will have their day.

I didn't say AAF will not go, it will have its day, my point is some members said there is a company from india with the exposure to gold going to buy AAF at 2.25/=, try to get that post but couldn't some senior members, might help me on it. My personal view is that if any Foreign investor comes from what ever country, if the gossip is true, will not give more than 1.90/=

Thank you for great stocks and ideas.

As we had sluggish market during last two years most stocks traded multi year low. They were stagnated and continuously went down for a long time and later stocks (one by one) had base building. So initially stocks such as JKH, LLUB, NEST and ECL etc had some rally. There were also very strong short term rally for stocks such as MADU and CERA during last two years when market was sluggish. Recently one by one stocks started to go up as investors and traders found some great value and growth in addition to cheap value. Once we see strong up trend many stocks can go up. Lower interest rates, higher tourist arrivals, opening more hotels, opening up new export markets are very good for some companies. Some of the major income sources in the economy are foreign remittances, tea and garment exports and tourism.

Share prices of strong emerging companies can go up higher and higher in the mid and long run. Those who identify stocks of wonderful businesses also will have strong growth in the future. In addition there are neglected stocks and on valuations they also should go up. There are different types of market players such as short term traders from one day to less than one year, mid term players from one year to five years and real investors more than two decades. Further some buy business and later they sell them to another party. For example time to time shares of some hotels, hospitals and plantation companies were acquired by new owners. Those who know industry very well will carry out their businesses for the long run. It is time to identify great winning stocks.

If we analyse market, different market players have identified different types of stocks even in the same sector. Some like all types of stocks and some want to stay with industry and stocks that they know very well. On the other hand some are slowly accumulating neglected stocks in the market. We can clearly see base building in some stocks. We may also see some breakout stocks in the market in the future. Good luck!
