Of the 260,000,000 shares outstanding, as at 31/03/14 Lanka Commodity Brokers held 212,942,149 shares.

Most of the sales by directors on the CSE website are after this, and are in fact sale of shares held by LCB.

8,876,672 shares have been sold by LCB since 31/03/14, bringing their shareholding down to 204,065,475.

Isn't it possible that the selling is merely to increase the public float?

For Me ASIY is better than CTBL.

Undervalued, has chances to move at least to Rs 5/-.
But there is a twist to this, The Main SH, has been unloading regularly as a result PH has expanded.

very Good DY, but nobody knows why the Selling is all about.

As a result the share is on a Turtle speed Very Happy

If they can find another Investor, then they can offload some easily.

Liquidity is an issue.

3.30 collection would be Good

How such deal can happen without knowing by directors? Directors are keep disposing their stake and would be happy to dispose their stake without considering dividend benefit.

directors cheating some times.

maybe they sold and another close friend collecting more quantity at cheap. after few weeks again directors purchasing at that time selling that big amount.

these things can happen real world. we cannot trust behind screen people

When a company EPS is around LKR 0.48 and it's paying LKR 0.30 as dividend, (62% payout), investor should be little conservative. It should be an indication that management have no options to re-invest company earning productively to add future value to the company. When I think about Dividend ration with underlying business of the company, I'm not comfirtable with this counter for long term. Experts can you please provide your view?
