Will ASI go below 7000 before the Presidential Elections? This is my question to all my learned colleagues and friends. Please do not get offended by my question!

Mr. president is the only hope for this country, you will see a hell if he defeated by maithree and SL will turn to another Libiya or Siriya from there onwards. So we will not let him to loose. Cheers!

All depend on how things go in coming weeks.
If election violence and unhealthy scenario develops
will be bit more deeper.
If things are smooth in a democratic way 7000 is a good level.

Port city will anyway be done..... Under MY3 corruption nepotism waste will be effectively minimised..... we dont need presidents plundering taxpayers money.

Fake patriotism blackmail allowing ministers to steal public money through contracts and otherways law and order gone to dogs we are at a crucial position internationally we are getting isolated .....

before its too late people will teach a lesson this time around......

Think about the personality of Mahinda before he selected as prasident. I think Maithree is far better than Mahinda.

See howmany boards and posters all over the island. Who spending for this. All of your money are stolen by MR. Why I am telling he stolen because no one know how is MR using this money. Only Rajapaksha family knows. I didnt saw any president in Sri Lanka did like this.

If Maithree selected as president he will not going to stop the port city project. Its a good project and we can see a small dubai in it, if the project done how they are saying.

I cant think how Rajapaksha family like without power. Now Mahinda telling he have files but if Mahinda defeated he dont know how many files are comming againsed him.

Defeating LTTE is very good move, Development also good but problem is curruption,no justice,waste of public money.

To Succeed in the Long Term, Focus on the Middle Term. I think market players have overreacted to the the temporary situation. We will get some of the great opportunities in the market. It is time to identify good businesses, asset plays, future favorable industries(now they are unfavorable), turnaround opportunities and undervalued stocks.

Much expected pullback is healthy for the market. Actually some stocks went up too fast and they are adjusting to correct value now. There were sell off in some stocks due to credit clearance, panic and crowed behavior. I didn't see any solid long term investors both local and foreign leaving their companies that I am following. They have faith on their businesses.

Are they selling their companies in banking, production, hotels, poultry and plantations to others? No. Only shares( peace of paper or online trading) are exchanging each other.

Point to ponder. This forum is internet based how many lankans have access to internet? outside colombo other than a couple of provinces MS doesn't stand a chance. Grassroot level support is huge for MR. the fact that the UNP is supporting MS will leave many UNPers abstaining from voting and all National centric voters will not vote for MS as he is supported by the UNP. people will shout on internet forums and social platforms that MS will win, just like they did when SF was contesting. But the majority of Lankans will support MR. MR victory is assured by far. GL

Market will not sustain if it remains red until December. Those who have traded in margin and credit ( locals), will try to realise the cash (not profit). Retail selling will continue, additionally close to December brokers might call for margins

The positive thing so far is , no foreign outflows up to now.But not a big net inflow too

Whoever the president, there is going to be lot of violence this time. There wont be a smooth transition. Time to Time some bad news will come to send the market in red.

We can expect the down trend of ASI till Jan 15. Whether MY3 or MR once its confirmed by Jan 15 then ASI will move upward.

As an investor we need to be patient and intelligent.

Politicians are voted by the people to rule the country for the people and not to fill the pocket of a family and cronies. We as a citizen should support what is right and against to what is wrong. We support MR, SF for defeating LTTE. It does not mean that MR is given the country to do whatever he wants.
It is taxpayers money, it is belongs to the country for development and to fulfill the needs of the society. MR has made a historical mistake by doing something which is completely against the norms..... he deserve the outcome of this election.
MS will win and the market can do well much better.... since those moneys wasted will spend on development efficiently.

Buying and selling a stock not necessary make you a good investor or trader. Buying and selling stock at right price makes u investor. Corruption made white elephants... etc... Let be a good citizen so that our children can grow looking at us...."Wrong is wrong"

MR will do whatever he can to remain as EP. So this PE election is going to make a World Record on "election violence".

Its obvious that some investors are living in SL to make money only either ethical or unethical yet people at large like to live as good citizen

So we all hope that people who has sense will cast their vote for the betterment of SL.
