I don't have any idea about Right issue and what will happen to share price after company announces it.
So experts please explain bit about this. It will help others who doesn't have much knowledge on Right issue.

What will happen to share price upto XD date?
What will happen to share price after XD date?
What will happen to share price for short term and long term?
How can we utilize this period (Right issue) for trading?

Hi, based on the experience of I have, there is no general trend can identify. It depends on the share prospects, right proportions, etc.

For Ex. you might see today ASCO go up after right issue announcement, but recently RHL, SDB went down with the announcement. For me very difficult to identify correct trend and there is more chances of getting into trouble when playing with shares and relevant rights.

Just my opinion.

You will get the provisional allotment letter to the home. Then you need to submit renunciation form to your relevant broker. They will then deposit your entitlement in your account. Then you can trade.

I am always delay to submit this form to broker and miss first 2 days of trading most of the time. Laughing

Guys I have two questions:

1. I also had KAPI.N and i sold those shares. Now i don't have KAPI.N shares. However i also got the provisional allotment letter . Still can i submit the provisional allotment letter to my broker ?
(ex: I had KAPI.N 1000 shares)

2. We got the Right shares for free or we need to play along with the provisional allotment letter ?
