Sri Lanka’s Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal has informed His Excellency the President that he wishes to resign from the post of Governor with immediate effect, in order that the new President may appoint a new Governor.

these effect any market condition immediately ?
because we know Cabraal gave wrong statistics about the economy some time to help Previous Govt,
if the new Governor says real figures then market may effect by that ?

and

Dr. Nalaka Godahewa Chairman of SEC has submitted his resignation to the finance ministry allowing new govt to appoint a suitable successor

so any possible uncertain condition on the way

Good point regarding the real figures but I don't think ANC had any credibility left as far as his figures and predictions went.

I wish him a good life and hope he will continue writing fairy tales, but this time strictly for children under ten.

What will happen to the artificially controlled interst rates. Will it go back 18% and what would be the impact to the stock market and listed companies.
