මම හිතන්නේ 29 දාට යෝජිත රජයේ අතුරු අය-වැය සමගින් යම් දේශපාලන කරුණු මත වෙළෙඳ පොල බිද වැට් ඇත්නම් ඒ සඳහා බලපා හැකි ගැටළු වලට විසදුම් ලැබේ කියා මම හිතනවා.

මම දැන් එහි සිටින සේවකයින්ට කියන්න කැමතියි,තමන් ආයතන ගත නීතියට අනුව කටයුතු කර ඇත්නම් මම අලුතින් ආපසු ආවා කියා විශේෂ තැති ගැම්මක් ඇති කර ගැනිම අනවශ්‍ය බව යැයිද කීය.

I think appointment of t Thilak is not correct.

He is a political man.

He may be good for corruption preventing institute. Main role of SEC is not eradication of corruption

Appointing authorities at least should read objective of the organization according to relevant act

The market has already given a warning

Appointing authorities must understand it

I think.ncz nalaka godahewa is not yet announce of his resign.so thilak has not received official appoinment

can anyone who has influence to reach ranil ask him to read these investor forums to get real idea about feelings of investor community regarding these appoinments.

Very rarely public appreciate a public official. I do not have any connection with Godahewa. I can see many people appreciate him for what he has done. I think Govt must respect that. Nalaka is not big time political supporter as I know.Nalaka effectively depoliticized the CSE. But thilak is different. He climbed to election stage to support MY3 to get this position. that itself a disqualification under yahapalana policy.

I am pretty sure Harsa is in this forum ,at least as a reader . Please Harsa Sir , Ask PM to act wisely in these appointments.

Can somebody raise a petition where we all can sign to request Mr Thilak Karunaratne not to accept the Chairmanship in the interest of SEC, Stock Market and a country raising its head again

This will not happen. We are a nation of ungrateful people. Soon everybody will forget what Dr Nalaka did for us bring the market destroyed by Indrani and Tilak to this level and start worshiping tilak. Dr Nalaka handled a crisis. Brought ASPI from 4300 to 7500 Tilak only has to stay away from destroying it now as now mkt is on auto run thanks to Nalaka brains.

UNP would have got the best out of a man who was always pushed down by Dr PB Jayasundara. Remember PB sat on new SEC ACT for 18 months because he was jelouse of Nalaka.

Now UNP did worst by getting rid of a gentleman who had brains and was doing a service to the market

I can see the displeasure of the investor community. I know we small investors have not got much say in these matters but one thing is there to remember.

They will come to ask for vote in next general election. make it a point to react to these political appointment. they VOWED not TO do politicking in public service ,but started doing the same.

Anti corruption attitude is not sufficient to manage CSE

This is highly sensitive place

I think he know what has happen to Indrani Sugathadasa

She tried to manage stock market by issuing circulars

She was a typical SLAS officer who shined circulars prepared by subject Clark

I lost Rs 500000/= because of her foolish circulars. What about other small investors .It is a big amount for retired person like me

, we need people like you who has abundance experience of srilankan society , political and economical landscape to steer this forum forward.

Being in the information age things are happening very fast , but most of the news are fabricated or exaggerated , no media to know the truth. so much vengeance and jealousy , FB and forums are full of filth . People of all sorts of nature got internet as a tool and there is no ethics. I am so afraid of future and future generation.

I don't understand what Thilak is talking about. He says he wants to find out the reasons for the market to collapse. He must be still following some share market records during the time he was the Chairman.
Everybody here knows the market was performing well before the presidential election. As any layman knows political situation affects the market.
Recent drop in the market was only due to the announcement of Thilak's name as Chairman.
According to the way he speaks he is out to punish the stock market for failing him last time.
Will the PM do something
