Apparently, local investors are again cautious of latest news of upcoming dissolution of parliament to be decided soon. Alternatively, eventual withdrawal of the motion against the minister JA would be positive news for everyone.

Though no logical reason to slow down the market progress, it is the usual sentiments inherited to the majority of local investors. The perspective of new type of ruling structure & its progressive plans not well conceivable to locals which has caused the perplexed situation among investors. So ongoing political events & the reaction from investors will be a major topic during this week.

This election related volatility is predicted since the conclution of Precidential poll and we knew the market will be volatile till the Parliament election is over. My view is that it is better to come the earlier than June since the uncertainity will be reduced.

Here's hoping the UNP are not fools. It's better to lose one minister than all of their success so far.

That was a very stupid move of Ranil to just blatantly announce that to the press. If this parliament is prematurely dissolved, and then the reports about MR running for PM is true. All progress so far will have been for absolutely nothing.

If UNP think They will get more votes it is a dream

Now People are more intelligent than politician. Last election clearly indicate that

No future program or vision in this budget. This focus only the next election

How this govt pay very big salary increase to govt servants Last govt given large number of unproductive employment

This like" ELOVA GIHIN MELOWA AWA "DRAMA

GAMA MAHAGETA WEDIYEN GAMARALA  BENATA DEEMA

If Ranil dissolve parliament "UBE KATETH PAS...."
