Looks like the Selling from Thurstan Investments is fast coming to an end. Last chance to buy DIMO at these levels.

There was a crossing of 520,966 shares at 1416/- today. If you look at the 4QFY11 interim report, only EPF and Thurstan Investments Ltd hold more than 500,000 shares apart from directors. Thurstan Investment holds 514,267 shares. I believe they are likely to be seller, including the script dividend shares they got recently.

Yes, I also calculated their holding after scrip dividend, they should have received 10,285 additional, so with that their holding 524,552 but sold only 520,966. If not them it cold be EPF yeah? I don't think it was directors?
Anyways now the selling should come to an end i suppose, cuz there were much selling on the market which kept the price low. Let's see what's gona happen next.

1416 is way below current trading price, more than 100 below what I bought. Some recent EPF buyings has been ridiculous like GRAN, SPEN and AHUN. Hope it won't end up going there.
Any particular reason why Aloysius group sell DIMO?

According to an article I read by Brokering company Manager ( if it is accurate) these crossing needs to happen closer to the day's market price. So it is not indicative of what is is worth. Remember the ASHO sell out which was lower and price came down. Same with PAP on the other higher end for example. So when a crossing happens the market price actually dips or rises accordingly to meet closer to the crossing price. When the crossing is lower there could be a temporary dip ( also helped by negative market) but if the share is worth or undervalued this might be a opportunity to grab if one thinks long term. I not making a direct buy recommendation on DIMO as it is upto the Buyer to analyze before buying. I have posted about DIMO on several occasions before.

So this confirms most of the big share holders are bullish on the counter except 2 needed to get out.. May be some financial requirement for them..

There is still some sort of strange selling goes on with DIMO. Even today, just after that crossing at 1450, someone put a sell order at 1430 for 1000 shares, when he/she could have easily sold at 1450 or a bit lower at the time.

I think when this selling pressure is over, this might rise in no time.

There is no need to bother about the sell-off by Algama family as it is now pretty clear that those selling have no connection to the company's performance.

Yes, It appears to be the Algama family selling. Though AK Algama is not on top 20 may he still has have a few left to dispose also.

Seen/knowing the performance and value of this share it is amazing why they are still selling without letting the share appreciate naturally and then sell for bigger profit. Could it be like a Mr Al Nakib situation with HUNT or they have massive profits on this so they need the money now?

What ever said and done , DIMO on fundamentals is worth as much or more as ASHO
( am not saying it will or should surpass ASHO price that is a different story).

ASHO Traling EPS : 177.02
DIMO Trailing EPS : 243

ASHO JUne 11 EPS : 77.07
DIMO June 11 EPS : 71.70

ASHO NAV : 390
DIMO NAV: 522.31

As you predicted, now DIMO is included to your list.

As of annual report 2010, the cost of the investment for DIMO is Rs 848,425,351. As of 31-12-2010 interim report, EPF holds 899,100. It means the cost price is Rs 943.64 per share. Now it's trading around Rs 750/-.
