It may reach even 6800 if few crowded over valued stocks drop further. Despite initial uptrend in the major uptrend some stocks stagnated after initial jump. Few stocks went up rapidly in some case more than 100% within one year. Those crowded stocks are coming down now. We can expect attractive valuations in many stocks sooner than later. Currently some of the top value stocks have stagnated. Mid and long term value investors will just wait ignoring these types of short term market volatility. Their game is for mid and long term. Market in the short run is like a weighing machine. It is time to identify some individual stocks separated from market. Stocks will start to rise once market situation improve and when market players become active including intuitional investors. Market corrections are great opportunity for value investors.

Thanks VP. Every stock I have identified have fallen in value. I haven't bought anything yet as the market is falling daily. Way it has fallen during last few days, it is likely that it may fall to 6500 levels. So I am watching the situation without putting both my feet into the water.

Agree with quibit. Looks like 6500 is not much further away, Government and Thilak are not helping the cause with their public statements.

im expectng worst monday tuesday because month end and end of financial year too.Wendsday morning looking to buy something.Till then only extreme bottom fishing

I think it may reach around 6800. My short term range bound for market is 6800 to 7300. We need a big push around 7300 to see 8000 target most probably toward second half of 2015 or in 2016.

As you are expecting, it can go below 6800 as well if there is more selling in selected few popular stocks in 2014. Overall market is becoming more and more attractive now as there are plenty of value stocks.
