Poultry sector has a limited earnings at the moment. Its not a big profitable business like before. The monopoly has been broken and 5000 plus new poultry farmers have started their businesses whole over the island. The market leader BFL cleary shows the decline of profitability compare with last years. The North & easters provinces highly production of eggs and meats will drive the lesser margins of profit further.

Commodities unlike premium products do not last long on bull runs. We see that over and over again in trading and in general busineses.

The entities need to break out from the commodities and come up with some niche products or services with a balanced and strong portfolio. VUCA a is the name of the game!

I think this year this sector has more gain compare with last two , three years.
