Reliable source confirmed that the Etisalat operation in SL will be taken over by Mobitel in the near future. Don't know how this will have impact on SLT share prices.
Yes that is Etisalat . Etisalat was trying to leave its operation in Sri lanka from last year. They also sold their investment of US$600 m in six African countries to Morocco Telecom early this year.
In 2014 Etisalat was taking with AirTel to sell . It did not succeed because Airtel also went down and wanted to leave here.
