whats the difference between John Keells Holdings PLC (JKH.W0022)and (JKH.N0000)?

If you are new to market you better forget about warrants and try only for N. warrants means destroying money but a gem a few days!

JKH N is the normal share and it trade like any other Normal share. JKH W is not a share. It is a certificate or right to buy the Normal share at a given price at a fixed date in future. W also trade like shares in the market.

If the growth of the country and the company is good and the conversion price of the warrant is reasonably low to the value of Normal share, investing in warrants is may give you higher return than in N share.

w.r.t. JKH Warrants,

When the country was in progressive mode JKH W was a very popular instrument .

Unfortunately for the investors who bought Ws at 60-80-even 100 range they came down and down with the deteriorating situation of the country .

In few months time Jkh W 22 could wipe out your total investment in it.
JKH N (Normal share) will retain at some level and give you some return in future date.
Warrants cannot stay like that because they expire at a fixed date.

If you are a newcomer do not go for JKH W at this time.
