GTC order/GTD order....?

Can anyone explain what is the difference between GTC & GTD order please?

GTC= Good Till Cancelled

This means you set a specified T+days for your order..it will be valid until you cancel or the T+days end.(Whichever comes 1st)

GTD=Good Till Date

Day - A Day Order. The order automatically expires at the end of the trading day.

GTC (Good Till Cancel) - The order will be active till you cancel it. The maximum number of dates permitted by the exchange is 5.

GTD (Good Till Date) - The order expires at the end of the specified date. The maximum number of dates permitted by the exchange is 5.
