Voting Ordinary Shares^ For every Ten (10) Voting shares held, One (01) Voting share and Three (03) Non-Voting shares.^ ^ Non-voting Ordinary Shares^ For every Ten (10) Non-Voting shares held, One (01) Voting share and Three (03) Non-Voting shares.^ ^ The consideration for which the shares are to be issued: ^ - Voting - Rs.6.75^ - Non-Voting - Rs.5.50^ ^ The Rights Issue is subject to the CSE approving, in principle, the issue and listing of shares and obtaining Approval at the shareholder meeting of both Voting and Non-Voting shareholders by way of special resolution.^ ^ The announcement has been published on the CSE website (www.cse.lk).^ ^

Will this be a repeat of what happened to LDEV Rights? Anyway, I look at it as an opportunity to lower my average cost price per share.

i have 5000 MAL Voting shares with me, need advice what to do, my broker told to sell the rights when it start trading and will this effect MAL trading price ?

The time where MAL.X passing and staying close to MAL.N will be quite short lived !!

@ Rajitha hw many people buy & sell per day. Otherwise CSE would not be there. your transaction is just another one among 304 tarnsactions heppend today. It doesn't mean this is going to nose down.

Who the hell told you that me selling is the only thing that mattered? Also who said this share is going nose down?
You either have some reading disability or should get a medical checkup to check how that brain of yours work!

I agree with Rajitha on what he said. Both N and X cannot trade at the same price. While N came down a bit, X went up to match it. Great opportunity to sell X.

This is what I mentioned on another thread when another member specifically said that MAL.X was undervalued
