over 50 million,  lesser charge to attract bigger transaction I guess . looks good for me to target/attract  big players to do frequent  "day trades ".

Yes of course,

If I buy shares worth of 10000/= and sell them with the profit in the same day @ 11000/= I have to pay brokerage fee for 11000/= (Which is the highest value) only. 


If I buy shares worth of 10000/= and sell them with the lost in the same day @ 9000/= I have to pay brokerage fee for 10000/= (Which is the highest value) only.

Calculation is based on qty, not the value.


That means 

  • In the event the total number of shares purchased does not equal the total number of shares sold, the transaction fees as detailed above will not be levied on the lower quantity of shares either purchased or sold. 

  • In the event the total quantity purchased is equal to the total quantity sold the transaction fees will not be levied from the sales transaction.

No. Only 0.82% to higer qty side and lower qty side with no fee at all. ( previously it was 0.3% reduced for govt levy)
