It's true we are facing some hard time with the economy these days. Macro factors, Budget Deficit, Dollar free float, Rate hike, crappy Finance Minister, etc etc. all going against the investors...

BUT, could all these bring ASI down by 12% within 2 months beating technical and fundamental factors?? or Does anyone smell manipulation, I'm bit suspicious too..Any thoughts???

Yes it is mix of everything Macro factor and political.

Oil prices are reducing purchasing power of Gulf countries.They are major buyers of Srilankan tea.
We are having some opposition politician who would oppose everything whether it is bad or not;except their salary and perk rise.

There are good opportunities for investors to buy good counters in discounted price.

Some are going half of NAV and good EPS and future prospects with current oil price and low production cost..etc.
There are gems in each sectors
