@pac-man This is an old news. And this is an excerpt published last week (http://www.ft.lk/article/529588/Capital-Gains-Tax-to-hit-CSE) and CSE already reacted to this last week! Dont try to spread panic just because you made some wrong decision and don't try to fool us; We know you try hard though.

It was your money, you decided to take risk and you took the hit. If it was me, I would have sold 50% so whatever the direction the market goes I can balance and planned the game.

Still it's not too late, study the pattern, invest in good shares and have a game plan. I believe we're still at the bottom and there are still plenty of undervalued shares around.

@hotstock u are very wrong

market is still reacting..... because of port city new market wentup but cannot continue u knw CGT ranil told 4 times he will put and Ravi also told on Friday. Ethin next week again this verry big negative effect of CGT will effect. S&P like fitch also downgrade us market did not react to that also because of port city news. next week again market turn down. Brokers know. Corporate tax rate rise to 17.5 per cent from 15 per cent company profits will be down. hard to companyies to grow becos have to pay more tax. So reduces EPS from companies in the future. Bad news frndzz

ayyo packman. you are also same like wisdom's sfl. if you think that the ASI falls below 5000 then let it happen,please don't spread everywhere your craps. you may be correct and thanks for your warning. but saying same thing again and again isn't a good thing for your reputation .if you missed opportunity last time to buy ALUF at 20.90 then try next time.
