Most of the factors are in favor of investors, Country's Political and Economical condition is good and development is going on strongly., Credit clearance date has also been changed. But market is still going down.. I think following reasons affect that
1. Many IPOs are coming - Many IPOs are coming on the way so retailers target IPOs to earn money with in a short period of time. So they sell their shares at lower prices to invest in coming IPOs
2. Manipulation - Big investors are manipulating the market see what happened to CSF, CLND, BLUE, ECL, within few days those shares went up. Some of them doubled within few days. All the mentioned shares are not fundamentally strong but went up due to manipulation. So retailers are following those shares by selling their shares at lower prices
So happiest people are manipulators and long term investors they can buy good shares at discounted prices.. What do you think ?

With Every Crisis come greats Oppurtunity - Mark Mobius

Yes I too have thought about it. Banki Moon report, vesak, avurudhu and many others things were the given reasons for the down turn of the market. Its really pathetic to look at the our portofoilio nowadays but attractive in the market.
But it feels it not all these what we think it may be is. Truly there is market speculation and manupilation but I think we have reached a bubble in the market and it has blown, that maybe the reason for the collapsing market, Im not garunteeing it is a bubble. But there is a bigger bubble defenitely ahead of us. We must have not noticed it because of these political sitautions and many other, but it may be the simple fact.

I personally sold off my shares from my portofolio becuase I can say its going to take a big dip ahead. This is how I feel about the market.

I feel the same way.If the manipulations get worse enough to take over the market, killing the natural forces of the market things will turn ugly sooner than later.

What frustrates me is that your own brokers are complicit in such manipulations and use your indivdual accounts to support such actions in the wider scheme of things.

its disgusting to the point that he recommends to buy certain stocks at extremely high prices and sometimes sells and ludicrous times in the market. Like everything else in this country the SEC plays a blind eye to maipulation and allows this to go unanbated.

Hence the reason the market lacking continued foregin fund interest, rather than the sporodic investments. Market is rather driven by local individuals launfdering balck money and larger players manipulating the market and leaving the common investor holding the proverbial "can" most of the time.

My advice to small investors .. unless you do your own reserch and make your own call to invest.. DO NOT LISTEN to broker advice as they are hand in glove with these manipulators and the SEC is also quite oblivious to such dealings.
The market at present is another Ceylinco waiting to happen ,... where the big boys will recuperate their moneis and the common man will be left high and dry....

Just invest your hard earned money in the bank, rather than falling prey to unethical and scrupilous brokers ..

I can agree with you regarding this.

I'm not a professional trader but a person is looking to buy shares at low.
This market has not hit the bottom yet & do not rush to average your shares unless it is already over 25% in red.

But most probably tomorrow will be a green day.

if everybody is panicking and selling there shares that will make heaven for manipulators and long term investors. Just don't sell your share if its gone red by 15%. If you want to sell definitely wait for a green day. October 1 will be a day manipulators will take a ride. wait till then and sell if you want to exit.
