I think most of the lowest was March 2016 and today it will break most of the records by lowering Shocked

CGT saga caused this. Now this budget saying removal of tax exceptions on profits on listed securities. Is this down trend is due to that?

It is IMF force to eliminate or decrease the certain elements of concessions or exceptions. This is in order to reach the 2017 target of fiscal deficit to 4.7% of the GDP.
Such constraints affect many industries thereby the capital market.
