Market movement

2015 Jan. 9th ASI 7614 highest point

Falls by 10.9% ASI-6782 from January- March
Rises by 7.5% ASI-7296 from March - May
Falls by 5.1% ASI-6923 from May - July
Rises by 8.7% ASI-7531 from July - Aug (Aug.17)
Falls by 8.8% ASI-6862 from Aug - Dec. (Today)

So now for the next 3 months market will RISE by 8-10% guaranteed

Technical level

RSI oversold situation - 28.72 . Maximum fall could be 6850 (9% drop) or 6773 (10% drop) if all people be in selling side. (negative mind)

Politics

First hearing is today evening which will be passed by a majority vote.
Final hearing is on Friday ( not sure of date ) but after that no more political uncertanity.

I see Rise in market very soon and
I see a BIG RISE in market starting from New Year 2016.
So this is good BUY time friends.

Hi guys,

I left this forum for a while and was active in investorforum but now I feel I should be in this forum and help traders here also.

What is happening these days ?

China markets are stabilizing, world markets are not in bull run but also are not falling. So world markets are okay.

North korea launched a rocket and there is a geo-political situation now with US-Japan-N.korea
But this will go away after 2/3 days. Problem is will US markets go negative with this news tomorrow.

Crude oil is trading around 31-32.50/- per barrel, this will go back to above 50 levels by this year end. So long term market will be good.

Tomorrow what to BUY ??

Enter PARQ at 60/- .. Take profit - 67/- no need of Stop loss for this
( Best buy 55/- now too late)

Enter AEL - but slow movement .. Enter 20-21 ,Take profit 26/-, long term can go close to 30s

GRAN - in green ASI, this will be moved higher.
For people who bought at low price - keep, u will have more profits next week
For people who didnt buy - Now not the best price to buy, but still can earn from it. but quickly sell when u have a profit.

ASI resistance - a small selling can come at these levels

6500 is psychological resistant

6548 is tech. resistant

If ASI breaks 6548 , next resistance is at 6730

There are many other stocks also like VFIN which are good to buy but I have named a few only which surely will be traded next week.

I remember ,,PLC you told to buy perfect time, but market crashed.

Gainer every week for the last 6months you're saying panic sellers and smart buying but with market coming down everyday it seems like its other way around.

When the rates was increased i said market will come down further but lot of people in this forum said market will hold. Now see what's happening....

Local medium/small investors are prompted to stay away from market & keeping cash in safe heaven (banks) even with low return.
Moreover, it seems capital flight continues alarming high end & institutional investors to step back. Hypothetical remedy for all ills may be the normalcy of global market trend.

CSE will have great days very soon

HSBC upgrade is a big news, CNBC also reported it. Its a double promotion for us, from NEGATIVE - NEUTRAL - POSITIVE. Fitch & Moody's will also upgrade ratings very soon.

Budget deficit falls by 10-11% ( please check the right % ), First time in history budget deficit is falling.

IMF loan approved - CSE bull increased market by about 50% last time we got IMF loan in 2012. So at this level ASI 6526 + 50% = ASI 9789

Big investments - Koreans invest $450Mn to KKS LCEM project
Japan HITACHI ready to invest a monorail to travel 500kmph
Japan ready to do more investments
Singapore signed MOU to develop Trincomalee under megapolis
IMF deal will bring many big & retail investors into Sri Lanka.

LOANS - Japan gave development loan of $4.5Bn to Sri Lanka
ADB promised to give $Bn ( I think 2.5BN ) for next 3 years
World bank will definitely help us
Government will sell bonds in international market to raise funds

Exchange rate - Rupee will strengthen because Imports have fallen.
Many of imports we have to pay in Yuan, Yen, Indian rupee
now we have currency swaps with India and we will sell bonds in
Renminbi markets. So pressure for Rupee will be less.

VAT & Taxes - Market reacted to all taxes, so no more negative news from taxes.
Share transaction levy also in effect which means CGT will never
come into this market.

Interest rates/ T-bill rates -small increases like 0.01 / 0.02 / 0.35 Bp
But market did not fall. This shows the bullish sentiment.

GSP + = we will get this very soon = more jobs , more investments , more exports
EU fish ban - removed - exports of fish about $100Mn

Conclusion = Market did not react to any of the good news I told here. SO IT WILL REACT VERY SOON. This is start of BULL RUN dear friends.

Agree with you BigKing, I see especial thing which is that most of the companies are paying good dividends in CSE , it's a really good movement .
Investors will encourage due to this reason.
