On June 2nd, SAMP shareholders are likely to approve the dividend that has been announced. The item is listed in the Agenda. I don't think there would be anyone who would vote against it.hettdas wrote:My concern is "Will Sampath pay the dividend as agreed"?

I expect that, when SAMP starts trading XD on June 3rd, the price would adjust downward by about Rs 12 from the previous day's closing level. This is because the seller would have earned the dividend, and the buyer would be buying the share without the dividend (ex-dividend).SUSPENS wrote:what will happen on dividend date ....will share price go down by 11 - 12 ..or

That's early! Payment date was supposed to be June 12th.
I have not yet received SAMP dividend, probably because my account is with another bank.
