Most of the times, PABC no dividend declared. better to move SAMP or NDB.

The bank has recorded an impressive EPS of 5/83 for the Year 2019 with a NAV of 31/=. Foreign ownership of 20% did not witness any dip even at the height of Covid outbreak.

Trading at 11/= with the potential of substantial price appreciation even at a modest P/E of around 6 should fetch around 25/= (allowing for covid quarter drop in profit).
@samaritan It dipped to 6 during corona outbreak.

Are we seeing the exact charts?

Hey friend it's nice to see you. Sorry bruh i haven't analysed ASPI yet, just because it is so much time consuming. As you know AL's will held on october.

I barely in touch with stocks these days.

However i'll be a full time trader after AL's :>

 UBC -  Return on Equity    -       4.18%
 SDB -  Return on Equity    -       1.72%

PABC never declared dividend income to equity holders unless they earned the highest ROE. How can you recommend PABC N  new investors.another one, PABC's primary dealer license still suspended since 2017. In the future, maybe charged the highest penalty related to PABC transaction with perpetual treasuries pvt ltd. now, 3 years past, But still primary dealership was canceled.
why new & existing shareholders take high risk. Did you get extra compensation for that? at least, they unable to pay dividends also.

Better move to  NDB or SAMP. They paid highest dividend income and also easily can earn capital gain also.  I don't want to promote any bank. at least sort out the legal matter, better move other banks.

Yeah i know about the suspension and yes they don't declare dividends. Still the share is undervalued. I'm not specially recommending this to new investors. I was recommending UBC and PABC all the time you know. Still the same.

Of course i agree SAMP is a good share but these 2 are potential. Lets see.

By the way they haven't extended the primary dealership ban this time. So, since August 15 there's no suspension exists for PABC.

CBSL extended ban another 6 months..

However, PABC is doing the business well. We can expect a good return in midterm..

Primary dealer license is not an issue for PABC. They have performed well and the current trading price can give a higher percentage return on appreciation for sure.

In reality what we can see is that Covid19 has weakened the West and has created opportunities to Asian countries including ours.

The Quarter ended in June is the 'Covid Quarter' where businesses went thro' a period of turbulence.

What matters right now is the prospects for the future. In my opinion future looks good with the appropriate measures taken by the Govt in order to revive the economy and give a boost to the corporate sector. Tourism sector too will thrive once covid precautionary measures are put in place and airports & ports are open for tourists.

ASPI to reach 6000 in the near future is possible.

Further, Most of giants are searching new business opportunities, new market places .. Few companies have completed their capacity expansions at the end of July 20.. This situation is more favorable for cash rich companies such as LOLC, HAYL etc for their business growth.

70% chance for a price drop. Traders can use that opportunity as we truly know it will bounce back asap.

As far as I know, Banking institutes can't declare dividends for current financial year till 31st of December as per government's directive.
