What is a Falling Knife?
A falling knife is a colloquial term for a rapid drop in the price or value of a security. The term is commonly used in phrases like, "don't try to catch a falling knife," which can be translated to mean, "wait for the price to bottom out before buying it." A falling knife can quickly rebound - in what's known as a whipsaw—or the security may lose all of its value, as in the case of a bankruptcy.

Yes but if we know the business, no matter catching the knife when falling. Also how will you recognize the bottom?

Some times you have to listen others, thats reason i purchased a gold certificate in last year. Friend of mine told me to buy Oil , so i put some orders. As every thing has been converted to digital , its so easy to diversify . If you think whole world is going to end, you can not buy or hold any assets. In CSE i started purchase 4 companies today. Because i believe world will exist . How ever i believe debt crisis will not end soon in sri Lanka. These traditional people can not develop this economy .

Every Crisis is an opportunity. This is a global recession. Only the people with cash will survive. If cash is no good, then get into gold.

watch LWL. now its around 52.00. last month 70.00. Normally they declare good dividend this month.

2018- Rs. 5.50
2019- Rs. 3.00
