Dudes I got this portfolio to manage, seems lot more messed up.

ATL 100,000 @ 2.42
BFL 1,500 @ 445
FLCH 15,000 @ 5.42
HOPL 5,000 @ 70.89
KGAL 1,000 @ 281.00
KOTA 1,000 @ 224.50
MAL 40,000 @ 11.20
PAP 4,000 @ 7.18
TWOD 3,000 @ 30.10
VPEL 50,000 @ 9.90

I understand most of these shares were bought at peak prices.Now I've to revamp this.

Wait and c. leave the market for one month.dont even log in to the cse website.involve in riligious things,what ever your riligion is. bend of the road is not end of the road.if you can buy from bottom and take the avg price down.there is a silver lining in every dark cloud.dont worry. worring make nothing other than frustration.dont even look at yur pf now on at least for a month.

fortunately most of your shares are very good in fundamentals. So you can have a hope that they will rise to your buying price but the problem is CSE does not listen to fundamentals always and does not rise in the rate that it did on 2009 and 2010. So you have to wait some time.

what you can do is just average by buiying at lower prices.

Looking at your portfolio averaging prices may not be the way to go. It actually depends on how much more money you have for investing...say you invest a equal amount of money to average the prices (eg: still your avg price for KGAL will be around 230). So what I suggest is if you have more money to invest just forget about your current portfolio and start to build a new portfolio with the experienced you have gained. When the right time comes try to dump your old shares even at a marginal loss.

I believe that you can exit from TWOD, ATL and VPEL, if you so wish, without much effort.

Overall you should not try to spend your balance money on these shares to average the cost. Instead, wait few weeks watching what are the developments in the market and use your balance capital on other but potentially good shares.

Let the market to release these shares as you have to spend more than the amount already in the market to average the cost of these shares. And focus on new shares if you have any money, but more importantly wait at least for few weeks to identify the market trend.

If you are successful with new shares, you can set off that profit against the ultimate loss of above shares if those shares did not recover in full. This way you can recover your capital at least.

Yes you can......Analyse some shares, collect all new information on those shares, evaluate them, choose few out of them, invest with confidence.....you will be successful.

*Conditions Apply
1. be patient not to invest more than 25% your available new capital
2. be patient not to invest in other new shares until you recover 25% invested
3.Do not follow rallies if you could not identify them immediately-better to avoid 100%.

OMG.........why you bought at this higher prices?
please have a own plan when buying and selling,you should have had a stop loss point,you have bought many at high peaks..
i just can say hold,bcoz if you sell now,you will incur the worst loss in CSE..
btw possibility of some stocks of your PF going to previous heights are so questionable....

macho don't get caught when the trains are running.if u get stuck like this u have to wait very long time.
the best is to get some money from wherever u can and buy above share from the bottom level and average

Thank you all for all your valuable advises, actually this PF is not my own one, I also do not enter during the rallies,unless and otherwise for a day trade.

this is a PF of a known guy who took advise from a bunch of people including myself.

I made two mistakes by not selling BFL at 480 levels and TWOD at 32.
