A new locally manufactured cinnamon- based cigarette was launched in Sri Lanka yesterday.
“Lion Heart” cigarette, which consists of other ayurvedic components is manufactured by Samantha Punchihewa.
The new local brand of cigarette was launched at an event graced by Minister of Industries Wimal Weerawansa at the Kingsbury Hotel in Colombo yesterday.
The Minister said the new cinnamon-based cigarette will help people addicted to other harmful cigarettes shift to a healthier product.
Minister Weerawansa pointed out that many State Institutions backed by other Companies are attempting to prevent the success of this new venture.
He said as the Minister of Industries he will ensure to support and help promote the new cigarette launched by the local company. (NewsWire)
