The market has been in turmoil recently, starting with the SEC Circular, with broker loan reductions and the Geneva human rights issue.
Can't we imagine that it is because big and small investors in particular have been waiting for a stable direction?
Perhaps they may expected suggestions given to us by this resolution be worst than what we got may be many thought more unfavorable than we got
Due to this investors may have being waiting and sidelined stock market trading, believing that the proposal could impose investment, import and even export sanctions in the future.
At the same time, the planned use of Geneva and SEC / CSE circulars may have caused some stock market downturns in the recent past.
All of these issues have been resolved and the brokerage loans of small and medium investors have been reduced.
Prices of Listed technically strong dividends paying companies are at lower also now &
Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) has seen its overall price index fall below 7,000.
Still government is pushing local manufacturing and export companies & agricultural sector with maximum support .
At a time when bank interest rates are at a very low level
At a time when there is a stable government with a two third majority
At a time Asia's first port city is about to open legally for investment
Now i think it is the right time to analyze and Invest in Colombo stocks need to look for the right stocks at the times at the right price levels to buy not at the highest flying price but at the highest value
Having an share portfolio with diversity with at least 10 -15 companies shares
with a diversified stock account?
Isn't this the time for that?
