ACME financial report out it's profit up.

I think it's maintaining quater on quater growth. Increased demand for their products with growing consumer demand esp. for FMCG etc .Low share volume. Good to follow

The potential for ACME is good no doubt.
As was said, growth in demand for packaging is high. Foil is the cheapest form of pacaging so far and there is nothing in the pipe lines to substitute it.

I feel that the pesent ACME manangement needs to do some real deep thinking.
Looking at the accounts I see a lot of mis-management. Cash in bank 250 Mio. / ST Loans 500 Mio. Now how come such an amount of 250 mio. is kept idle on one side and increase the interest costs on the other? (Zero marks) Basic accounting function is to see that the balance sheet at least looks pretty for the qtr. (Zero marks)

The accountant has done a blunder in the Tax provision in 2009. May be they rectified an error made in 2008. (Zero marks)

They have incurred approx. 25% increse in Fixed OH costs over the year.
Looks like the Fixed Costs are more variable than the variable costs themselves!!

Revenue increased by 30% (This could have been more if they had more invetories)
This year they have increased their Inventories and that has propelled the sales. (Full marks)

Not very innovative according to the times.
