thanks for the upload..btw how can you get upto date EOD data?..Cube explained one method is there any other way?..

also is there a big difference between Amibroker and DFN?

Yes Amibroker is more advanced than DFN. There are trading systems designed for ami using its code-able nature.. Further the patterns, indicators could be make overlapped each other for better analysis purposes.

Quibi.. This is only guide for members to start using Ami.. no discussions related to software piracy or no links will be provided to download the software.

Thank you very much Smallville for the info. I have been trying to use AMI and Meta for some time. But failed miserably.

@CubedSol, thanks for the info on the other threads. Have been enjoying your posts for a long time and they have been very useful to me.

I don't have any experience with Amibroker, therefore not sure which one is better.
But DFN TWS also provide above functions you listed.
I've been writing a script to combine multiple analyzing techniques and
to generate buy/sell signals based upon overall performance.

No worries... Sammy is here as SamuelDaniel (Only a GUESS)

PS - I have no exposure whatsoever about METASTOCK , Sorry... But there was a thread by lokuayya or some other member where I posted a TOOL to facilitate Amibroker data exporting to Metastock . Unfortunately I never tried or remember the download link . Sad

Well I checked the research site to see how the amibroker guide topic views have been.. 326 views quite good..

But the most notable factor was someone has given me a - rep for all my hard work and time spent on educating the members here.. I'm trying to figure out whose behind this stupidity..

This is a resourceful site where everyone gets benefited from collective ideas we see on discussions, provides an insight of the fellow traders, investors in this game for our day-to-day decision making as well..

However, the fact is; I gain nothing by writing here, nobody pays me, its just my poor soul trying to educate the rest of the members and a negative rep adds a shady touch to my good intentions..

Therefore for sometime, there wont be a 2nd part of this ..
