Hi! Can Anybody tell me how to change the broker code of DirectFN. I'm currently using the software I got from LSL and I want to use the same software for the ASI account as well. Is it possoble to change the broker changing the server address?

have you been given online trading over DFN from ASI?

if yes, then they would have sent the download link for the software. download and use. im not sure abt changing things cos i think it's customized

yes they gave the S/w and I was using it. But when I Installed LSL S/W it was asked to remove the existing S/W. Can I install the same s/w twice and keep??

Can.. two broker have 2 server addresses then it will install the other broker's one on top of the current one..

Better u use the software for the big account and use the web interface on the other account.. so u can see both at the same time.. In web, u can even use both users on 2 seperate windows.

You should be able to use the same installation for both brokers by changing the server IP address.

Im using one software for both. Just changing IP address in login window setting link at bottom. But once i asked that from broker IT people they said never. But it working well.
those brokers new to DFN not familiar to new soft.
so try to learn after trading time. DFN PRO better than DFN TWS.

If you are using windows 7, you can run a Windows XP virtual machine inside it (It's like a computer inside a computer). If you install DFN in the virtual machine, you should be able to run two instances of DFN at the same time (1 in windows 7 and 1 in XP)
