Hmmm Good points by all the members.
Sumal Perera is one of the richest and the most powerful people in Sri Lanka. In future there will be a new name in top 20 billionaires at CSE.

However I guess somehow this IPO will be oversubscribed.

(I have no plan to apply)

Page 172 of prospectus gives details of all last year's private placement applicants

Keells have biggest chunk of 40 million shares (out of 180 million issued), and lots of other familiar names in list

Unlike with EXPO, these private shares were given at same price as IPO, and are locked until 11th Jun 2012

@euity buwa...please see the other thread on same subject..big amount of shares given free to workers.. if they change price can go down in the marekt. so think twice. (Hpoe we can buy less than IPO price in the market)
