I can remember they declared Rs.2/= dividend some time back but when compared to their earnings they can pay much to shareholders. The problem is LFIN paid a massive amount to DP in order to purchase the building at Dharmapala Mw. Do they have enough cash to pay dividends? DP is so clever that he knows how to take the profit back without giving to shareholders. The price that LFIN paid to DP for the building may be much more than the market price which is as usual at CSE.
Simply many rich businessmen rob innocent investors money very intelligently. All these things contribute to the slow death of Colombo Scam Exchange for sure.
