If you look at introductory document only 5.4Mn shares are available to trade during next 9 months because of director’s commitment to locked in part of their holding. See below table.

But you could see another major share holder called S H Karunaratna holding 1.9Mn shares out of this 5.4Mn.

It is important to find out who are these Karunarathna’s.

Saman Karunarathna appointed as a director is actually working at Richard Pieris Securities (Pvt) Ltd & other 2 Karunaratnas are his relative.
Reaming shareholders also their business partners specially Japanese guys. Non of theses existing share holders have invested money in this company these are just book entries.

This a trap for poor investors where they try to dump this 5Mn shares by giving a impression that directors have looked in for shares. On the other hand there is no value in this company even to buy at IPO price of Rs11.

Be careful and find out the details.

This is not a hotel, just a Guest house .Next time SEC will allow even brothel houses to be listed at CSE.

Didn't SEC brought a rule to stop the introductions some time back? These introductions are huge traps. Transfer of funds from unknown to the known...

mate can u explain a little bit, if shared are locked, how can they be sold?

if company makes good profit and have good EPS, P/E then can buy even if it's not locked, isn't...but it's not the case, it seems it's hugely over priced

However directors and their connected parties still holding the same stake. They will try to push the share price, maybe with next market move, hotel sector momentum or some BS announcement like they did in Jun 2014. With that Hydro power corporate disclosure they pushed this share up to 40 levels.

You guys can also get some profits in such situation but be careful. I really don’t know what should be the entry price for this because those guys can easily bring the market price down to 15-18 levels.

If you guys know about Saman Karunaratne who worked at Capital Alliance & Richar Pieris Securities you could get good sense about this share.
