Since their Financial Year is December, they are given 2 months from end of period to report interim Fy 2012 results. thus, they will report by 28th feb or 1st few days in March. For Companies FY ending 31st March, they have to report interim statements in 45 days from period end thus 15th Feb.
As far as results are considered, i would think like this - No news is good news !

Poultry sector needs to revisit their business & marketing strategies analyzing the the remedies used for bottlenecks they had experienced before. Other than the increasing production cost which directly hit the gross profit of the operations & financing cost, other segments are to be scrutinized to measure the contribution being made towards the profitability of the company. Having the advantage of high prices of fish & fish products that are very expensive for the ordinary customer, poultry sector still has a good business in the future.

In the current situation, the over heads of Chicken Sectors are decreasing.... so... If we think about TAFL & GRAN, very good EPSs are expected....

Experience investors are very capable of earning profits when shares ups and downs, Mr. Karun is very wise investor in that way. Still I am learning. I have enough competence to evaluate shares, but there are more than that we have to learn. I think Mr.karuna is more matured and has good knowledge about some shares. I have GRAN share, but I couldn't identify when to sale and when to reenter. I think Mr. Kurana has re-entered to GRAN again.

If I followed him I could have earned 50% earnings. More to learn, specialy CSE in sri lanka . If some one want to re-enter, he or them are posting negative trands collaboratly by the time enter to that share .
In my view GRAN has more potential than other chicken shares. ,,.,,,., let's see next 2 days.

Can't you remember a couple of weeks ago you said GRAN will be Rs 137 within a few days?

You said 117 when there was huge selling. Other 2 shares also same. TAFL and BFL - when there was selling you said there is selling ! Hard work, noh?

We have warned enough of this in this forum and no more can be done and its forum members' prerogative whether to follow 'karu' and become 'balu' or whether to smart the rational investment skills.

For poultry sector one key thing I notice in BFL result was their YoY sales volumes have come down despite the margin increases. It is difficult to earn sustainable cash flows without a satisfactory volume growth. Margins can go up or down. The volume game is a tough game in Sri Lanka when it comes to chicken and egg because lot of small players in the country. They all claim a sizable portion of the industry. I don't know whether that factor will affect GRAN as well but they too selling chicken. TAFL is heavily towards day old chicks and I think their revenue growth is much more assured than GRAN & BFL. Lets see whether my predictions are correct once they release the results next week.

After entering CSE, I had to faced more losses, that bc of my broker, I never trust him now, they are misleading, make our fund bottlenecks for unvaluable shares. Now I am OK . I got so many things from forums.my monthly target is 50 thousand. Noise gettable, but we should have patient and wait for opportunities.
