recently hemas power bought at 3/=, if they exceed 30% they have to make an offer @ 3/=

presently they have just above 29% stake, if they exceed 30% they have to offer called Mandatory Offer to buy the remaining the highest price they paid as per some 1995 Take Over & Merger Code or some Act

I bought considerable number yesterday @ 2.60/= but sold it for 2.70/= today, since i felt another company might help me!

PAP 7.4mn shares traded, out of that big chunks went at Rs.2.7. Can it be due to good results?

Well friend i don't have any info, but by looking at the VPEL results i feel March Quarter & current Quarter Might be good for PAP.

I sold because i got 1.5% Profit in a day, after taxes, and am not going to pay anything to broker now.

Hemas Holding above 29% is a public information

Based on Financials or forecasts its not possible, but if someone decided to manipulated like last time (when you bought) it is possible!

Most of the hydro power plants should be in profits due to the heavy rains we saw last few months.
Q1 results should be really good..

But they should be able to sell their production to CEB to make profits, so anyone has info on their production and sales?

By 2011, around 42% of total power generation was handled by IPPs and others. So CEB can't easily discard them.

Trismal...I am asking the same question from people who knows better PAP.
All what i noted was Some collection yesterday, including some foreign purchases.Just to check whether PAP lovers have any insights of whats going on

I was watching and waiting for HPFL expecting it to drop at least to 5.70 again.

All of sudden someone bought 50,000 @ 6.10 and pegged the price .

Sometimes, if they report bad EPS in next few days we may get a chance to collect it at lower price.

Same for VPEL. Not going down below 6.10.
