Today  we had a marginal green day and tomorrow might be bloody red. this was the case for the last few months. So today I had a chat with my adviser (CT)as to why this inconsistency while  foreign buying kept coming. Her explanation was "Credit". Still there's lot of credit in the market & when there's touch of green everybody tries to book profit. That drags the market down again.
How you all forum members see this idea???

Simple thing advisers hardly do their own study. When there's dumping going on they tell to buy and when there's pumping they tell to stay on sidelines. They are giving us the message the top level wants us to hear.

If she can provide statistics on credit during the time of upward trend
and now we can accept what she says

Usually brokers give some explanations.

It is like " KITHUL GAHATA GIYA MINIHA KIYANA DEVAL"

Well credit is only one aspect that can bring the market down.. Moreover, we can explain the situ as no far sight of market direction.
Look..
1. There are pumps and dumps goin on in counters like TWOD,
2. then whole sale selling of PCH group my the owner
3. no big player names getting involved in shares
4. very less news for development or new thinking in companies, some companies cant keep up with the performance.

So, as u can see. .there're a lot that keeping investors away from the market.. And the most significant can be of uncertainty of investor protection in the market.. SEC doesn't give a damn about the pumps and dumps and wrong doing of the companies, they just allow counters to fly 40-50% in a day and still dont see that's just pure manipulation.

True, a market should be allowed for demand and supply rather than trade under a regulated environment. However, a market like CSE can be controlled by few ppl alone. We call them HNWIs. If they do pumps and dumps nobody questions.. In other countries directors are not allowed to buy their own stock. They cannot sell as they wish.. But here? Our directors Buy higher quantities today and announce at once, but they sell and announce weeks or months later.. These are punishable offenses in developed markets..

May be SEC doesn't want to see the CSE getting developed.
Twisted Evil

I think main reason is no place for price mechanism  now (Demand &Supply)

You can see all other four reasons from the beginning of SL Stock market (1980s)

Govt manipulation begun after 2009

after 2009 no place for price mechanism

Even now market is highly controled

I think we must be more sensible. In short this is a slow run.

Yes selling is there. We can see it. Credit clearance is one reason. Other is people who were desperate during the down trend are selling at reasonable prices without realising that they can gain more.

Other factor is brockers are aware how much new money came in though we are not aware. I think still we haven't seen a considerable inflow. But there is a slow inflow. Thats why we see more green days.

I do not agree with this govt to their policy towards SL Stock market

Govt has interfered unnecessarily after 2009

So far not understood the role of govt in respect of stock market
and  made several blunders

We are suffering because of govt blunders

Without being adamant, why not trying to adjust to the pitch.

Govt is mainly misled  by  one person

Will try to educate people and change that  attitude of govt

Now it is successful to certain extent
