1.What is the total value of the market capitalization(Around How may billions)?

As of today
Rs 2,487,161,454,592.00

2.What is the day transaction value in CSE(This is also around in billions)?
Last 2 days
Turnover (Rs.) 1,952,800,896.00 ( today)
2,077,438,848.00 ( yesterday

3.Why do subdivision of shares?

To make a share more liquid.

4.If the value and number of shares divide same way.. why the price going up with anoucing the sub division of shares?
When a share become more liquid the purchasing capacity might go up. Example to buy 100 share os RS 1000 each you need Rs 100000. But is there is a split of 10 ;1 then the share is now Rs 100 ( though there are 10 times more shares) . So you onoly need Rs 10000 to buy 100 shares.

Sl Stock beat me to these two.

SL.Market wrote:3.Why do subdivision of shares?

To fool retailers. Soon an a subdivision is announced retailers drive the price up to crazy levels. Directors make use of that opportunity to sell some of their holdings. (note that directors don't always trade in their own name, they get their friends and relatives to buy/sell on their behalf).

After the split prices usually return to where they were. then the directors buy back the stuff they sold earlier. Don't take my word for it. Look at the charts.
