The President has issued a directive cancelling the licenses of some 349 liquor bars due to operating in violation of the Excise Act regulations, the Presidential Media Unit stated. More details to follow. Hirunews.lk

an we stop the trend in all the palanyas!

They stop opposition LICENCES and issues new LICENCES.
They report stoppages and do not publicize issue of new LICENCES.

Who does this sort of consumer protective monitoring?
There should be some strong body doing this to prevent any other activities arising.

So why not begin a forum for consumer activity in Sri lanka.
Protect the consumers?

Anyone thought of that idea?
