PM outlining the development plans has assured that the Govt would convert the country as one of the developed nations in the world within the next 3 years by carrying out mega development projects in all provinces.

The country would immensely benefit from American and Chinese mega investments in the process of one trying to outdo the other. Sluggishness in the CSE is only a passing phase. Cheers!

Foreign outflow mainly due to pummeling of other stock markets all over the world. Shanghai alone dropped 7% in one day yesterday, but cse showed great resillience

These can change overnight and we have been resilient in the past overcoming so many hurdles.

To what i know PM is not going to make a statement of this nature without doing his home work. Since the time space specified is 36months, we will know where we stand in 9 months time, as it is 25% of the total time. So it will not be a long wait!

Totally agree with you. We are in to a phase which we have not experienced in the past.

In my opinion most of the projects would be fast tracked. Remember the mahaweli development project, the duration was cut down from 30yrs to 6yrs. If there is a will there is a way.

FDIs will be the most powerful weapon to transform our economy to a modern one. US, China and India are expected to play a key role as partners in Sri Lanka's progress towards developed nation status.

Let's see what RW has up his sleeves to walk the talk.
CSE is bound to take a dramatic upward turn in the near future!
