Speculation from Hayleys and Vallibel One group is on the rife that Sri Lanka's leading Sinhalese Billionaire Dhammika Perera is trying to form a new steel manufacturing plant in Sri Lanka as a joint venture project with Global Billionaire and London Steel Guru Billionaire Lakshmi Mittal.

Accordingly Dhammika Perera will also explore opportunities to set up a Steel based Entertainment Park similar to ArcelorMittal Orbit in London that is being built in 114.5-metre-tall (376 ft) sculpture and observation tower in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, London.

Perera is also said to be starting his Steel Venture in a Land currently owned by Hayleys Group. Perera's firms also has a major stake in Sri Lanka's Tile Industry, Aluminium Industry, Honeymoon Hotels and 6% Global Market Share in non-medical rubber glove market and accounts to over 3% of Sri Lankan Economy's Export Dollar Earnings and he contributes 5% to Sri Lankan Government's Tax Revenue via Tax Payements from his firms.

Steel is a main requirement for small homes, larger homes, religious buildings and larger infrastructure projects to everything in construction industry and the stationery industry such as staple clips and drawing pins as well as paper clips and bulldog clips.

Sri Lanka's steel industry's main market share is currently being controlled by Ceylon Steel owned by Nandana Jayadewa Lokuwithana and Currently No.1 in the industry Melwire group led MELWA owned by P.P Muruganandhan and Brothers (http://melwire.com/inspiration/) whilst other steel companies such as MELBN of Melbourne Metal (Pvt) Ltd led by Mohamed Ramzy Amanulla (http://www.melbournemetal.lk/about-us/director-message/), and importers such as Confab Steel, GTB Steel, E.B. Creasy & Co., PLC owned Lanka Special Steels Ltd. (LSSL) (http://www.lankassl.com/board-of-directors.html) and Captain Steel (Pvt) Ltd collectively have a minor market share in the country.

Dhammika Perera's entrance into steel industry will mark the Second Sinhalese coming to Sri Lanka's steel industry after Nandana Jayadewa Lokuwithana who owns LANWA (Ceylon Steel) since the larger market share of the Sri Lanka's steel industry is owned and controlled by Tamils and Indians. Sri Lankan Government Sources note that Perera in his first steel venture will create and add over 5,000 jobs to real Sri Lankans of any ethnic community, despite existing Larger steel players such as MELWA in the country has imported over 4,000 Indians already in Sri Lanka in last 15 years that resulted in providing jobs to less number of Sri Lankans.

Meanwhile it is being discussed among Government Officials that Dhammika Perera has submitted a proposal to the Government of Sri Lanka to  'Recycle' Sri Lanka's entire Garbage Mountains in Key Cities - eliminating Garbage Problem in Sri Lanka bringing happiness to people as a solution for Garbage Problem in the country - under a CSR and Joint Venture Business Project with India's Natural Resources Industry Giant and Billionaire Anil Agarwal who started his business initially with Scrap Metal and Garbage exports and reprocessing to emerge as one of the Top 7 Natural Resources companies in the World titled Vedanta Resources PLC - which is into Copper, Zinc, Aluminium, Iron and Oil & Gas. Perera will also work for taking a Business Venture with London Steel Guru Billionaire Lakshmi Mittal to take Steel Industry to the Maldives whilst Anil Agarwal may sell 30% Drilling Rights of His Oil & Gas Block in Sri Lanka's Mannar Basin to Perera's Hayleys Advantis to form a joint venture in Liquid Natural Gas extraction from Sri Lanka.
