Denmark-based Orana, a fruit compound maker will set up a 1.5 million dollar processing plant in Sri Lanka, the state information office said.
Sri Lanka’s Industrial Development Board will sign a agreement to provide a 02 acre block of land for the company in Pannala, in the north central area of the island.
Orana will invest 1.5 million dollars to built a plant at the Pannala Industrial Zone in the first phase where at least 30 persons will be employed.
The cabinet of ministers had approved the inking of an agreement between the IDB and and Orana. (Colombo/Feb06/2020)
